Summary: Power and dominant ideology, leads the urban transformation movement by explicit displacement operations. In Istanbul, every day, thousands of trucks carries debris created by demolition to the periphery of the city, fills the old coal mines with displaced stories. All the components of the memory, textures, things, sounds, accumulate in layers in the dumping ground and determine the ground zero for the city. Ali, displaced by the transformation projects in the city, a reconstruction is commenced here between fantasy and reality. Ali finds the past here, preserves and documents it. Sounds of the city are in the air and are heard by Ali. For some ground zero is the place where the memory is measured by kilogram per truck. Total 31300 kilograms, Net 17950.
