Summary: Celebrating its history from the birth at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to London 2012, the film explores the Paralympic Values of determination, inspiration, courage and equality. A short animated film by 497 disabled and non-disabled young people from 12 Countries across the globe. From March to the end June 2012, 495 children and young people from 24 schools collaborated to create an animation depicting a journey of the Paralympic torch, from the birthplace of the Paralympic movement at Stoke Mandeville Hospital to London 2012 and its handover to Brazil in 2016. They worked with 10 disable and deaf animators and artists, 8 Paralympians and 2 disabled musicians, celebrating the history of how the Games began and exploring the Paralympic values.
