Summary: Eyluel (5 years old) refuses to be separated from her beloved goat, which is to be slaughtered on the first day of the Festival of Sacrifice. Once she flees into the forest to hide out the goat, she's not aware of an even more significant parting that is waiting for her back home. It becomes one of the days to mark the end of childhood.
