Summary: Yakup is a penniless chap who is deeply in love with Filiz of a well-off family. He pretends that he is also wealthy. As Yakup's family comes to ask for Filiz's hand, the girl's mother doesn't give her approval right away. Their lie is revealed and the marriage gets canceled. Filiz runs away with Yakup but the police arrests him. Yakup's father introduces Haci Ismail to a bar singer, they end up in an affair. Ismail gets arrested from adultery and is put to jail where he meets Yakup. Ismail pardons Yakup and accepts their marriage, the young couple starts a happy life while Ismail returns back to his wife again.
